First Gear 2010-11:

Improve your winter driving skills in our abbreviated class (4 hours), offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You will get an introduction to the basics of safe winter driving.  $270

Second Gear 2010-11:

Our Second Gear program is suited to everyone, from the teenager to the octogenarian, who would like to be a better driver in adverse conditions. In this full-day driver safety class, we teach accident avoidance techniques and give you a new perspective on safe winter driving. Thousands of drivers have taken this class to improve their ability to control a vehicle in slippery conditions. We offer Second Gear seven days a week. $480

Third Gear Performance:

Third Gear is a one-day performance driving class for those who want to learn performance driving but can’t dedicate two consecutive days to the process. Third Gear is based on day one of our Fifth Gear class. You will learn advanced skid control, the best use of traction, emergency/threshold braking, and how to maximize weight transfer. $950

Fourth Gear: Performance Day 2:

Fourth Gear builds on the performance driving skills gained in Third Gear and adds many new proactive rally-based techniques. You will learn advanced skills used by world class rally drivers. Price: $1550

Fifth Gear Performance 2010-11: Fastest Ride on Ice:

Combining the Center's Third and Fourth Gear programs in a single, two-day performance driving workshop, this comprehensive approach with our senior instructors teaches the advanced driving skills used by world class rally drivers. You will learn the 'Scandinavian Flick' as well as other cornering, acceleration, and braking techniques. You will acquire enhanced balance and control whether you drive a front-, rear-, or all-wheel drive vehicle. We provide plenty of practice sessions so you can refine your newly learned skills to an instinctual level. Limit 10 students. $2250
